Day 201 In the pink

The roses are pink but I can't say quite the same for myself, although on the mend.  Today I enlisted the help of The Son to pick up Violet from school: I drove and managed to park within a reasonable distance and the Son was the poor unfortunate who had to walk to the school and back in torrential rain.  When he and V arrived back at my car they were soaking.  In extras is a pic taken through the windscreen of my car while I waited.  I was in a parking bay btw: there are double yellow lines in between sets of 'legal' spaces.
In other news: today is Daughter #1's birthday. We celebrated with a family takeaway dinner and yet more yummy cupcakes.
