Demolition
The old hospital (Sint Pieter) site in the centre of Leuven is being redeveloped. It is a massive site and it seems to be taking ages to remove all the buildings. This is the first time we passed it and the old front building has now gone. Combined with the old brewary site, which is also being redeveloped, there is a lot of developments going on. The hospital on this site dates back to 1080 according to Wikipedia, although most buildings date from after WWII due to the previous buildings being bombed.
Worth visiting though is the old Theatrum Anatomicum.
