Tender Leaves....

Maisie and I went walking very early. Part of our route is through a vineyard. The leaves have burst open on the vines but are still at a tender vulnerable stage. There was a light rain falling as we walked.... or rather I walked and Maisie ran everywhere. My lower back is still troubling me and I made sure to rest it during the day.. During the afternoon I managed to drive to a Polling Booth in central Blenheim. I cast my votes for the General Election and two referendums. Many folk are voting early this year. Election Day is next Saturday the 17th.
