Boat
Rhona seemed better this morning. We went out for lunch to a local fish restaurant at the harbour, The Silver Darling. We had a living social voucher so enjoyed our 2 courses and a bottle of prosseco and only had to pay for Euans posh fish and chips. He ate it all, but rhona had the pea puree, which she seemed to enjoy. She also had calpol.
The boat is in the play park we could see out the window of the restaurant. Euan was very good so we let him play for a while.
Home by 4 after a stop at pets at home to see the rabbits and fish and I bought some ammonia remover to see if I can't strip the smell of ammonia out of euans old nappies. Rhona has only worn them as a night nappy a couple of times as they are still quite bulky on her, but they always stink of ammonia in the morning. I have tried various methods to strip them but none have worked so far. I read about this online so thought I would give it a try. Can't make them any worse!
Rhona went up to bed for 2 hours when we got home and when she got up her temp was 39.1. Stripped her and gave her calpol and after an hour of sponging her with tepid water, her temp was down to 38.1 and she vomited all over me. After that she was much happier again and went to bed at 8 after another traumatic eye drop experience. She hates getting them in, closing her eyes tight and shaking her head from side to side and screaming! A two person job and I feel terrible pinning her down to do it, but atleast she gets over it within seconds of it being done.
