BCSplash Showcase

It's the weekend and time for yet another #BCSplash showcase!

Our latest #BCSplash photo was created by Nicpic who lives in the north of England. What a stunning image and we understand that these exotic looking birds are a very rare sight in this area.

"I went out this morning for a walk, and then decided to go to see the Hoopoe which is currently in Collingham near Wetherby. I thought that if it looked to be a very busy twitch, I wouldn't bother.
In the end there were maybe 15-20 people watching, all well behaved with pretty good social distancing on the whole. 
This gorgeous little bird was so close and was a delight to watch."
