Yet Another Shishi
As promised the other day here is a Blip of one of my eldest sons 21st birthday presents...yet another Shishi (front and back view).
This one is a Chinese Hetian Jade seal in the form of a Shishi dating from the early 1900's. These usually had the name or title of the owner carved into the bottom and would be used, with ink, to sign documents. This particular seal is blank never having had a seal cut into it.
