Whispering grass

Not a great night, but better......awake early, showered, hair done, quick breakfast before hitting the road.

Not my usual day to go see sis but this week today was the only day we were both free, back to Tues next week though. Roads were busier, journey took longer, so a bit later getting there!

We had agreed a plan of action, which we more or less completed, these included the indoor market, a quick sandwich & drink for lunch, we bought another mask each, called into Next to pick up a top that hub has seen that sis is going to buy him for "x", they didnt have it. On to Sainsbury's, just a few bits, then called to another Next....we got wet dashing from the car, frustrating, as they didnt have the top either!

Dropped sis off with her groceries, had a quick brew and a fuss of Kobi, who took great delight in shoving his squeaky piggy in my face lol! Then I was off home by 3.20 as sis had a dog training session booked in at 3.30.
Much busier going home too, took an hour to get back!

Popped out into the garden with my camera in search of a flower Friday blip, settled on our miscanthus grass which is in full flowe with its feathery plumes waving in the wind.

Hub had been really busy whilst ive been out! House looked lovely all hoovered and tidy :-)
Dinner was homemade individual steak & kidney pies, just a small disc of pastry on top, with sliced fresh runner beans and mashed potato.

Good that the numbers seem to have come down today, lets hope its the tide turning. Didnt see. anympeople without masks today, even outside there seems to be more people wearing them, including us, as it was busy!
The mood is still pretty blue, but maybe pale blue :-/ Im working on it honest ;-/
