Well which is it?

We called them greeny poles but some pedants insist on stretchers.

Our society is so divisive. What is it in us that we polarise so easily. East and West, left and right, black and white ...and it goes on and on like a runaway fractal.

The answer to the first question is both. Deal with it. The answer to the second requires a little more thought., a little more difficult because we are all part of a split. You say tomato I say tomato! Hurrah!

Anyway for some unfathomable reason I was rather taken with this space, a well tended sheltered housing enclave in a village that is the starting point for many of the dog walks.
