Banchory

We met my sister and her husband in Banchory for lunch to celebrate my brother in laws 60th at the always excellent Banchory Lodge hotel. Our last chance for a drink inside for at least 2 weeks and the hotel was packed. We enjoyed a walk along the river pre lunch where there are some fine old trees struggling with soil erosion - perhaps due to a couple of bad floods over the last few years.
