Croome Court
We left Malvern this morning after a very nice break in the town. My only issue with Malvern, which is a very interesting place, is that there isn't a single street that is not on a hill, and normally it's an uphill slope wherever one is going. Never mind, I'm sure all that exercise did me good!
On the way home we stopped off at the National Trust property, Croome Court, near Pershore. We'd booked an arrival slot for 12noon but actually got there a bit earlier; they didn't mind and we had a nice drink at one of the outside tables before going for a walk.
They've introduced a one-way system at Croome, though it is still possible to go on the level path to the rotunda and beyond. We had lunch at their cafe after the walk, a nice bean stew hotpot with wholemeal bread.
