Above It All

Today's highlight: cleaning the solar panels! Who knew that this is a chore to be done annually, like chimney cleaning?They've been up there for many many years with only the seasonal rains to wash them off. Although it was the coating of ash and grit from the fires that inspired us, it turns out there was some thick algae and moss up there as well. The very efficient and pleasant service man said people notice an uptick in their solar output right away after the cleaning. What I notice is that they sure look shiny!
