Sand dunes and fences near Beckfoot, Cumbria

I love the coast, and the group fancied the idea of going there today. We had a pretty sunny day, too, quite a change from Wednesday.

The sand dunes along the north Cumbria coast near Beckfoot are great, with the long grasses blowing in the wind, and the stabilising fences adding some contrast; today, the shadows were about perfect and the fences really stood out against the shadowy grass.

Congrats to Wild Cardinal, who celebrated his 365th blip today, we had fun knocking over piles of stones for his blip - please visit it, rate it, and get him his first spotlight!

I had a play with the Nikon J2 at the same time, experimenting with it's 60 frame-per-second shutter!!!! Great fun.
