Bude

Our first full holiday day saw us at the beach at Bude. It was really strange being in an environment full of people running around, in the sea, dogs barking etc... when we've been so isolated for so long, and still don't have full energy levels. There's a lot of sadness with being ill still, and a lot of having to adjust to what I can do now, rather than what I'd like to be physically able to do. I've wanted to be at the beach for 6 months, and so finally being at one was a bit overwhelming at first.

After a couple of hours I relaxed into being there, and we ended up having a lovely afternoon.
