Halyard tensioner mark 2

In an attempt cure a saggy luff I bought a Highfield lever and a Clamcleat to try out.
The lever was too long to fit in the space between the sheave box (bottom of mast) and the gooseneck (shiny thing like a hinge) further up. So I fitted the clamcleat which will allow me to swig up the jib halyard and prevent the luff sagging off to leeward.
I think I will be lucky to get out for a sail again this season but maybe we’ll get a gap in the weather.....
