At the lochan.....

only 3C, but sunny and with autumn tints, with flocks of nervous ducks, Wigeon, Pochard, Mallard taking off and circling and landing. So peaceful otherwise, not a sound from the rest of the world! Robins, Wrens and Stonechats in the hedgerows and cattle, sitting and chewing the cud alongside my car when I returned. They didn't even move when I started the engine, very content with life.
