Other people's rhododendrons

Some lovely pink rhododendrons on the morning walk. Unfortunately they are not in our garden. We would love to grow rhododendrons, but apparently they don’t do well in our climate. A nursery person once told us that they would be fine once they reached maturity, but the hard part was getting them that far. ‘It’s like raising a sulky teenager’ she said.  So we enjoy other people's rhododendrons.
