Migration

Driving down to the Borders for coffee and a bun with friends at the Milestone Garden Centre I was admiring the increase in autumn colour glowing in the sunshine along the way. We did not have time to stop.

By the time of our return journey the sky had clouded over and those colours were dulled down and certainly not blipworthy. What to do?

 Fortunately we noticed a flock of geese approaching my side of the car and I caught a couple of nice shots as we passed each other, by which time they had grouped into a classical skein formation.
