Something Else Cancelled

Monday is housework day, this week I did it skirting around Clare who on her day off was making Christmas Cakes, plural as the second one is for friends.
Outside I had an interesting conversation with one of our young student neighbours, I have a great deal of sympathy for them.

Taken on Friday today’s photo is of Tinside Pool in Plymouth, built in the Art Deco style during the 1930’s and recently refurbished it is a slice of British seaside life from a bygone era.
Behind it on Mountbatten Arm there is a sign made of neon bulbs, “No New Worlds”, this was to form part of the Mayflower 400 displays, sadly another event lost to COVID.
