As Canadian as ...

.. Tim Hortons. This coffee ranks pretty high on the symbols of Canada list along with maple syrup, poutine, hockey and the Canadian flag itself.

I think we Canadians are proud of who we are but sometimes I find it odd what we decide to associate with our identify.

Take my morning coffee for example. Tim Hortons coffee is not anything fancy and I do enjoy one every so often. I do understand that the franchise has a long history here ..... but it's not like we grow the beans here and I believe it's American owned now.

Anyway, I don't mind Tim Hortons being a Canadian symbol, I actually find the stereotype kind of fun. it's just a little odd.
