Spindrift Whipped by the Wind.
Above Etroubles, just through the St. Bernard Tunnel, in Italy, Rachel and I snow-shoed from soft spring snow into an area of wild, wind-blown slab snow. It was beautiful as the sun came and went, but bitterly cold. After yesterday's calm snowy village, this felt a bit like the Cairngorms for those who know what that means!
Please go Large to see the individual snow particles flying into the air. Have a great weekend.
