Shaft

Continuing with iconic song titles for my February blips, I'm pleased to say I've made it past the halfway stage without taking too many liberties!

Looking through my options before going out, I'd thought of this title as a possibility when the occasion arose but was surprised when as soon as I had got up the hill this afternoon, this vista was laid out ahead of me.

OK, the full title is 'The Theme from Shaft' but that's neither here nor there. It was performed by Isaac Hayes of course and was a hit in December 1971
