Strange juxtaposition

Noticed this strange pair at the water’s edge along with another cormorant! I rarely see the great black backed gull so that was a joy and then just further along was a group of oyster catchers, see extra. Weather was variable today but lovely to be out and about. Choices made today for the bathroom and the kitchen which will not be delivered till the week of 23rd November so in it for the long haul! Hopefully the bathroom will be in sooner and I willl be able to move in despite the lack of kitchen! Such a big job! At least I have a slow cooker now! Final extra. Corridor as it currently looks!
