Rain on my parade

Slept ok.......the rain woke me up around 7 hammering on the windows.

Up earlyish down for a quick brew before getting up proper.....did my hair, wish I hadn't bothered :-/

Got soaked going to the shutter shop....lots to choose from, lots to think about! Drove to the Bag & Bean cafe afterwards for lunch, it was full, only seats outside, granted under cover but too wet, so plan B, to Kenyon Farm......no indoor seating here either so despite trying to go somewhere different today, we ended up back at Reds, we both enjoyed what we had.

The rain has been relentless, no outdoor photography today...... so a shot taken out of the kitchen window, rain in biblical proportions led to some local flooding, is as good as it gets.

This weather always makes me feel a bit fed up......dont like not being able to get outside :-(

Homemade mushroom soup and a sandwich for dinner, did t want much after our more substantial lunch today.

Hoping the forecast is right for tomorrow.....dry!!!
