Settling In

It is almost three months since we bought our saddle stone as a feature for the herbaceous part of our garden and it has settled in well. The plants around the stone in the gaps between the slabs are growing well and filling the spaces and the stone has added shape and a focal point. Autumn project is to develop a small woodland area (not in view) and add some other shrubs into the border. 
Weather has been very unsettled with a prolonged period of rain from mid-morning to early afternoon. It is raining again now. Hoping for better weather tomorrow.
