View from Canoe

We broke out the canoe and took it for a spin today. It's been mounted on the old, red 1993 Ford all summer waiting to hit the waves. But, there was nothing broken, spinning, or hitting about it; we had a really nice, if short, ride on the Willamette River. We put in at the dock in Cathedral Park and were back after an hour or so. That seemed to be long enough; we hadn't canoed in at least two years, although Eric went out in a kayak with a friend a couple of months ago. It was great to be back in the bow seat.
