A walk in part of Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve.
My friends who had great fungi knowledge moved away from the village three or four years ago. Although we have at least five books about fungi, identification can still be very difficult.
I think the one in the main picture is probably Velvet Shank, Flammulina velutipes. But if anyone thinks otherwise I would be pleased to know.
I am a little more certain of the two in extras. The small one is Burgundy-drop Bonnet, Mycena haematopus and the other is the very well known Honey Fungus, Armillaria mellea.
