Blue skies at last.

Unfortunately they didn't last long! Lucky that I managed to get a short walk in to enjoy the sunshine and also notice that the 'sticky buds' are sprouting on the chestnut trees.
Just received an e-mail with a picture from my friends on holiday in India, showing one of them huddled over an electric fire drying out! It's a long way to go to still get rain!
