Pityoulish - again!
In the week since we last walked here the trees have really started to turn and the water level has risen. The outflow burn has been transformed from a lazy flow to a rapid race. This morning there were bright interludes between sudden deluge, the surface of the Loch a mirror until a pair of cormorants broke it and flew off - familiar birds of the Buchan coastline they looked incongruous sitting high in the dead pine where they came to rest.
