Chopped!

I've been meaning to prune this viburnum for several years now but the size of it has been a bit daunting. I did severely chop it about seven years ago but failed to keep it in check so it only has leaves on the outside.
Never mind, it will soon green up again and I'll keep it shaped now! The chickens came to see what I was doing and enjoyed scratching about under the bush.
The photo shows the height it was and the height it is now, still around six feet high.
After a bit of rain this morning it was dry until I had just about finished. It's still quite warm and there are still lots of swallows wheeling and diving through the air, and flying at a height of only a few feet above the fields and the garden.
