Village Knitters

Gordon's sister always sends such carefully chosen birthday cards and the one I opened yesterday is a delight - Village Knitters. 

I looked on the back and there was a lovely piece about the artist Dee Nickerson and a link to the publishing company which sells her work in the form of cards, and the work of lots of others too - Green Pebble. A great website to browse.

Now, the strange thing is that last week I made a comment to emhowl about how one of the things I find difficult to buy online is birthday cards. She immediately sent me a huge list of suppliers of wonderful cards and I have been browsing ever since. Today I noticed that the top of her list was Green Pebble. Perhaps I am the only one who didn't know such lovely websites existed. Now I need a few more birthdays to come along!!
