Crathes Castle - Walled Garden

After all the rain yesterday we thought we would take a trip to see the Falls of Feugh. When we got there we found that much of Aberdeenshire seemed to have had the same idea. On the bridge overlooking the falls there were crowds of people, no distancing and no masks.

We turned the car round and went to Crathes Castle instead. The best view of the colour of the trees is obtained from the interior of the castle overlooking the walled garden. Without going around the castle the best I could manage was a view from the lawn in front of the castle (in the extra). The main picture is taken with the walled garden.
