Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Or Single's Awareness Day if you are that way inclined to think about the day! If you do, think more positively - think of all the money you saved a guy because he didn't have to buy you over priced cards, flowers and/or chocolates!! :) Go to a supermarket today and buy yourself top quality roses for half the price as the shop tries to sell its leftover stock!

For me, it's never an easy day because as I get older, the feeling of loneliness seems to sink in just that little deeper every year as it's now the couples my age that are the ones getting engaged, married and having children. Scary times!! However help is always at hand.......last year it was an unexpected red envelope delivered late at night to my door, this year - Chocolate Cake and Pride and Prejudice!! Both managed to put a smile on my face although admittedly last year's smile was more genuine.....
