Blooming lovely
It was the clinic managers birthday last Thursday, so I arranged for some flowers to be delivered to her; don’t they look fab?!
The florist is someone who has a pop up shop at the Greasy Spoon; Mama A & Laura have both had arrangements from her before too, so I knew she was good.
She posted on her Facebook page (Blooms with Grace) that she was doing these pumpkin displays in October and I thought it would be something a little different to send as a gift.
Ordinarily, I wouldn’t get a gift for a birthday; usually we’ve just sent a card and had cake, but Linda has been fantastic with me I can’t reveal anymore at the moment! so I thought she was deserving of a treat. She was thrilled to say the least!
I was a bit downhearted when I got to work this morning and saw them on the reception desk; why hadn’t she taken them home? Did she actually not like them?
I needn’t have worried. She said as she spends more time at work than at home, she wanted them where she could see and appreciate them, which I thought was lovely and makes perfect sense. :-)
