Thame Town Hall
I took a quick snap of Thame Town Hall on my way to do my supermarket shopping this morning. The plaque on the front proudly proclaims that it was "Built in 1887 on the site of the Old Market Hall of 1539 to commemorate the fiftieth year of the reign of Queen Victoria". The Victorians were such vandals! It is in "Jacobethan" style which means that it is a pastiche of Elizabethan and Gothic styles from "Old England".
