Any Way the Wind Blows.......

Sorry MissyMoo.... No 15 Challenge today, I'll link to another Fridge I've done before.....

My undertaking of the Challenge was to beat the Winter and Dark day Blues.... But look, just look at today.... I think this may be a day of changing photos, I keep seeing new opportunities everywhere.

It didn't start well.

Mum's Psychic instinct woke me at 4, and I picked up my phone.

No text but I logged into Social Networking and there was my Baby, leaving me a message right then. She had been pickpocketed during her night out, and was now phoneless and distraught. I spent some time chatting back and forth on the text.... we had no phone, and I left her, disillusioned with humanity but calmer now that we had "spoken".

I had booked today off because a man was coming to see me about "insulation in my cavitities". I am so sick of Foot in the Door men coming and telling me my insulation isn't thick enough that I called British Gas and I asked them. I had to wait since before Christmas for an appointment, but today was the day.

I got up as Si (Sorry honey) left for work, it was non-uniform day, and that doesn't make him happy either.... and I shouted with O2 down the phone who were happy to block Tooli-belle's phone but when I confirmed my name as Simon, they detected a tone in my voice which wasn't masculine and halted all conversation with me. (Si orders the phones, because I would order pretty not effective things). Then they had the cheek to tell me to log into Chat and tell them I was Si on there..... Hmmm.

So anyways, the Gas man turneth up and he says, "helen,", I says "yes", He says, "You wanted advice on cavity insulation", I says "Yes", he says, "See those holes in the wall there filled" "Yes, Says Me", "That's your cavity wall heating". :-)

Then I turn my attention to breakfast. And Washing, and sheets, and housework.

Yes, I know this is my day off, but the Sun Is SHINING, and I am HAPPY!

Despite bad things in the world, there are BETTER things.

People may steal Toolibelle's phone, but they will not steal her lovely nature. Damn you people who spoil nights out.

And another good thing, the SAAS reassessed Tooli's loan award, yes, they ever so kindly look at our earnings and award her a little loan based on how rich we are HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

And they have upped it, ever so slightly, but it means that she will get a wee backdated lift. Yay!!!

Added to which, Adelle on Privilege Insurance was lovely, and says, "shoulder bags constantly round your shoulder are probably easier to pick than if you were holding on to a hand bag".

Hmm well.
