The Pattern of Water
Like most places, we have had a lot of rain recently. Fortunately, our area is not adversely affected by floods but we do have quite a few low lying areas which become flood plains on these damp occasions; no harm is done long term. I just had to go out with the camera to a place I knew would have plenty of water in unusual places.
The weir, at Eythrope, is not big anyway, but today it was not visible at all - just a change of shape in the water where it tumbles over. Fields close by were covered in water and Pepper enjoyed splashing along retrieving her ball. Cows were being moved to slightly higher ground, where their grass was not covered over. So, excellent photography opportunities, although seeing the sun again would be good! An extra of another water pattern and one of Pepper - she loves her swimming!
Mono Monday tomorrow. MM 350. we have a month of Abstract ahead with some challenging challenges! Tomorrow the theme is Double Exposure. Many cameras will do this almost by themselves and there is bound to be an app as well. As host this week, I am very much looking forward to seeing all the different interpretations.
