Flooding

A surprisingly bright day after all the rain yesterday. I went to see The Mate in the morning and found a village that had suffered more flooding than our own. The water was covering the road for many yards and the fields both sides were flooded as far as could be seen.

This isn't a lake, or even a river, just a field. In the extra you can guess the size the river would be by the little road bridge.

In the afternoon and evening we had The B-I-L over for a meal. We passed some of the time doing a jigsaw lent by #2 Daughter. It is of anatomical diagrams of the brain. We had to work our brains hard to do it as the 1000 pieces are irregular shapes, not, necessarily, interlocking.
