Mippits In The Mizzle

It has rained all day. After lunch I took Ollie dog for a ride to Epping Forest in the hope that by the time we got there it would have stopped. No luck so we returned to Lodge Farm and went for a walk in the rain buffeted by a stiff westerly breeze.

A couple of small flocks of Canada geese came down into the stubble. I've never seen them here before. I got pics but have posted geese recently. My image is what I think might be a flock of meadow pipits. They're lovely bouncy birds and seemed to be quite happy flying in the horrible conditions.
