Winter Light

It's winter here in Michigan

And the gentle breezes blow

Sixty miles an hour

At seventeen below.


Oh, how I love Michigan

When the snow's up to your butt

You take a breath of winter

And your nose gets frozen shut.


Yes, the weather here is wonderful

So I guess I'll hang around

I could never leave Michigan

'Cause I'm frozen to the ground.

It's really +17 degrees. A little exageration is a billion times better than understatement. One good thing about winter is the pure light. I shot this with a 28mm-300mm zoom.
