Spare room

We have had a day with the family. N drove in a downpour over to son and d-I-l’s for lunch with them, a scrumptious roast pork dinner. They showed us their newly decorated spare room, available now that George has moved out. I was really taken with their wall of photographs, so stylish.
We then followed them to George’s new home where he has moved with girlfriend Valentina. It is an ideal starter home, a two room apartment quite suitable for their needs. George commutes from there to university, while Valentina is working. They all seem very happy, and it was good to spend the day with them.
