Kirsty Cooks Sunday

I don’t think I blipped it as it was too gruesome but my husband sliced the top of his pinkie last Sunday whilst chopping veggies and after a visit to the hospital to be bandaged up has been suspended from cooking and washing up duties since.
I appreciate even more all the sharing of tasks he usually does as the relentless single handed cooking and washing up has been exhausting this last week!
Anyway this weekend has been so utterly miserable with endless rain that there has been nothing else to do so I cooked up more or less a week’s worth of meals today to keep things simple for the next few days. Including this great okra curry. ‘The Green Roasting Tin’ is my new cookery book of choice as there is only one thing to wash up!!
