Wet feet.

The constant rain over the last couple of days has taken its toll on the local roads and paths.

I went for a long run this morning and many times was met by impassable roads. The worst hit section the path was completely flooded. There was no other way to go but through it. It made the last 5 km rather squelchy.
I think as a run it was probably the most difficult I have done. Constant rain and wind for 15km with wet feet. Pleased to have got through it and had to call on my inner determimation reserves.

Rest of the day has been rather quiet. Lots of reading to the kids and some nice chats with Z. Also managed to get an hour of whitteling done which was good fun.
