The Boy!

This is one of 9 Cockerels we have. Always the way when you hatch your own eggs. This little chap is one of the crested Legbar boys and is so sweet. However he will hopefully be off to a poultry sale next week as he is surplus to requirements!

Another very wet day today with the ditches filled to capacity. I just hope they open the sluices  when  it is low tide this evening. Our water table on the moor here dictated in part by the sea sluices. If the water table is high then they let the water go and if its dry they don’t and the water table rises . All a wonderful idea when they get it right!!

Yesterday we finally managed to get the blinds put up for Miss H. So glad we can cross that off our list of things to do.
