Bumping Into Your Past

Dear Diary,

Mary and I went to North Conway, NH and the lovely Zeb's Store, a sort of old-fashioned country store.  There, I literally bumped into my past.  At the back of the store is an old time soda fountain of beautiful marble with gorgeous wooden shelves behind.  The brass plaque on it (extra) said it was from 1886 and had once been in Lucia's Drugstore in Hudson, Massachusetts, the town I grew up in.  I remembered the counter very well, sitting there having a milkshake or a vanilla phosphate over 60 years ago.  What a flash from the past!
