Soggy morning at the bird feeders.

The feeders are very busy on this soggy, drippy, extremely wet autumnal Sunday morning, 
I watched for awhile as the goldfinches came and went in quick succession Always difficult to catch them being still! There were 10 of them in the rowan tree sounding like an aviary! 
There were a pair of nuthatches together at one point, alongside the bluetits, and coaltits.
I just kept on clicking away to try and catch a halfway decent shot. 
Then I load them up and see how they turn out! 
I liked this one the best, although it is still slightly blurry. Taken from the back door which I opened just a little bit. I know of old, if I open it any wider they all scatter en masse! 
 The remains of the perennial pea plant are still trailing by some of the holders and the last of the sunflower just behind.
When I looked through the window the other morning, the remaining  heads of the sunflowers which had finished  had been nipped off. 
As one of them was taller then me, I would have loved to have watched who climbed up there and took them! 
The squirrel or a rat would have broken the stems. 
Soon it will be time for our  Birmingham Vineyard  Church livestream.  Later we are going out to a socially distanced lunch, with a couple of friends.at a nearby  pub restaurant. 
It has rained incessantly for almost 24 hours, but just beginning to show signs of brightening up a little  outside.
