Definitely Worth The Wait For

After talking about it for more than two years with my friend A, today I finally got something else ticked off my bucket list... A meal in a Michelin star restaurant. Mr Kit, myself, A and her partner N had booked for a six course tasting lunch at the Winteringham Fields restaurant in North Lincolnshire.

It was fabulous, the food was delicious, the service was impeccable, the surroundings were beautiful and the company was the best... so much so that we ended up taking 4 1/2 hours over our lunch. Well, it would have been rude not to sample the extensive cheeseboard and even ruder not to enjoy coffee and handmade chocolates in the lounge afterwards.

It was such a special experience that it was definitely worth the wait for.
