A very wet canal.

Today we have discovered that the Leeds-Liverpool is very wet!! We didn't even get in it, just walked beside it and still got soaked.

The good news is that my new coat passed it's baptism of fire with flying colours.

We knew that the weather forecast was for rain getting steadily worse as the day went on but there was an obvious walk to Skipton and back that we'd decided to do it regardless of the rain.

It was lovely to get back and get out of wet clothes. In a strange way it was a great day.
