Knole House Sevenoaks
The house isn't open at the moment, but the park is and that's where we headed today. Only the park doesn't have any pink really (for BCAM month) so this is the entrance to the house where there were plenty of families out for a day in the fresh air after yesterday's persistent rain, sporting a little sprinkling of pink. We were able to visit the Courtyard and Orangery (my extra), a beautiful building.

We used to visit this park a good few years ago with friends who lived in Sevenoaks. The children loved the space and opportunity to climb on massive fallen tree trunks, and of course the beautiful deer who roam free. Today we tried to find where we entered the park by steps in the stone wall. We didn't, but met with a couple who knew where we meant. Another visit, another time.
S wanted to chat again this morning. We have heard that the exam went well and then the family went out for a lunch with a classmate of S. Next Saturday, another exam for another school. She has such a cheery and positive disposition. Long may she remain that way.
