Memories...

Today, I took my camera with me when I drove over the hill to Tobermory to get my flu jab. Sadly, there was a thin,
un-photogenic mist lingering over the landscape so I didn't feel inclined to exercise my shutter finger along the way. Anyway, the set-up at the surgery was very efficient and I was seen to in no time.; and, so far, not untoward side-effects.
The weather has remained rather dreich throughout the day so I haven't wandered outdoors this afternoon to seek out a Blipfoto. Instead, my eye lighted on this woolly capture of one of my favourite places.
My great-grandfather, and my grandfather after him, farmed the area of Mull adjoining this sandy coastline. Because of the close family connection, this was always our destination for a family picnic on a sunny Sunday when I was a child and it is still a very special place for me. Knowing this, a family friend wove this lovely tapestry for me.
