Ever deceasing plans
We’d planned a good yomp around Market Drayton and the surrounds while Robert was in the area. When we saw the forecast, that quickly turned into a walk around the town. When we saw the actual weather on arrival, that turned into diving into successive establishments to take cover from the rain. Coffee and cake at a cafe followed by a beer in a pub followed my more coffee at a farm shop. In the end we couldn’t drink any more so went our separate ways. Rob’s face sums up our feelings.
Dinner with the neighbours at the local this evening where a man refused to wear a mask to get to his table and nearly pushed the waiter out of his way in anger. Nobody likes wearing a mask, love, but seriously...don’t be a douche. I passively aggressively stared at him for the rest of the dinner but unfortunately he didn’t look my way.
